(Re)discover Your Truest Self
With The Power of Therapy Intensives

For rapid healing and accelerated recovery

“It felt like I got 10 years of therapy in one day!”

You are not defined by what has happened to you

You’ve already done so much great work to help heal past trauma and how it shows up in your life. But at the same time, it feels like there’s so much work left to do. You move through one aspect of healing only to uncover another area that needs attention.

If you’re tired of chasing your trauma and feel ready for that final push—beyond what you get from weekly or “whenever” therapy—an Intensive may be just the thing.

Our Therapy Intensives are designed to help you finally build the bridge between where you are now and where you want to be.

What Exactly is Intensive Therapy?

In an Intensive Therapy session, you are the only client the therapist will see that day.

Big picture, this includes:

  • 8 hours of individual counseling

  • 1-hour break for lunch

  • Highly-focused strategy and treatment

  • Can be multiple days in a row

Your therapist will select a treatment structure based on your goals. This may include:

  • EMDR

  • Expressive arts

  • Physical movement

  • Dialectical Behavior Therapy

  • …and much more

Rather than working through your struggles for short periods over several weeks, months, or years, Intensive Therapy allows you to experience faster healing with the greatest chance of success.

How does Intensive Therapy help?

While traditional 60-minute therapy sessions are always helpful, they may stir up past wounds that are left exposed between sessions.

As a result, you may experience heightened levels of anxiety, depression, confusion, anger, loneliness, or low motivation between sessions.

Day-long intensives work particularly well if you’ve had these “exposed wound” experiences between shorter sessions. Or if you feel you’re in need of deeper, accelerated work throughout a focused period of extended time.

Intensives are great for:

  • Defining who you are after trauma

  • Discovering your core values

  • Separating yourself from shame

  • Feeling clear and refreshed

  • Letting go of pressure from society

  • Learning what you want out of life- and leaving the session prepared to live it

Heal wounds fast and feel fully you again.
It’s time to get your glow back.

What to Expect:

It’s almost like “emotional surgery."

We’ll go in and clean up the hurt that led you to feel this way. And address long-held beliefs about yourself (that have never been true).

After an Intensive, you can expect to…

  • See yourself with more compassion and kindness

  • Understand what it means to honor your true self

  • Embrace your strengths and stand in your courage

  • Acknowledge and release what’s happened to you

  • Feel more connected to yourself and your loved ones

  • Release self-hate or anger for things you’ve said or done

  • Accept that you are not defined by what’s happened to you

This is about transformation and renewal.

You’ll move through raw self-discovery and explore the types of emotional wounds that have kept you stuck. Through rapid healing, you’ll learn to love and embrace who you’ve become. With clear goals and strategies on how to continue progressing after the Intensive.

“I truly feel like I have my trauma behind me.”

Intensives can be great for those who:

  • Don’t want treatment from a local clinic.

  • Prefer to dive in and work in bigger chunks.

  • Have a pressing issue and can’t wait weeks, months, or years for progress.

  • Have a work/life schedule that makes it difficult to keep recurring appointments.

  • Are mental health/medical professionals that have limited time off and are seeking support outside your immediate area.

Intensives can specifically help with:

  • Depression

  • Anxiety

  • PTSD

  • Grief

  • Childhood-related trauma

  • Domestic abuse trauma

  • Attachment wounds

  • Emotional reactivity

  • Outbursts of anger

Please note: long-standing and complex issues may require more than a single-day session.

Who should not be treated in an Intensive format?

  • If you’re currently chemically addicted.

  • If you’ve attempted suicide in the past year.

  • If you’ve been diagnosed with a dissociative identity disorder.

  • If your therapist determines that you’re not suitable for an Intensive.

  • If your schedule doesn’t allow you to take off a few days after the Intensive—you will need downtime to continue processing. So, it’s important to refrain from work (for at least a few days) to regroup and recalibrate. Put yourself first. Work can wait.

Where do I stay during an Intensive?

This is an outpatient treatment.

If you’re local, you can stay home between sessions. If you’re traveling for treatment, you’ll need to secure lodging.

Clients are responsible for arranging their own travel and lodging accommodations.

When are Intensives scheduled?

It depends on your therapist, but most offer Monday-Thursday availability.

In some cases, there may be limited Friday and weekend availability.

You’ll work with your therapist on the details.

“I was able to get rid of things I never thought would heal."
